US stocks close: Nasdaq falls 2.6%, Microsoft falls 6%

On November 1st, the U.S. stock market closed on Thursday, with the Dow initially closing down 0.9%, the S & P 500 index down 1.8% and the Nasdaq index down 2.7%. NVIDIA (NVDA. O) fell 4.7%, Trump Media Technology Group (DJT. O) fell 11% and Microsoft (MSFT. O) fell 6%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 1.3%, Li Auto (LI. O) fell 13.5% and NIO (NIO. N) fell nearly 5%.
